1960年代後半のサンフランシスコ・サイケデリック・ムーブメントから生まれた、
液体を使ったステージ照明。 
OHP(Overhead Projector)上で、透明なカラーインク・着色油等の液体を動かして、
リアルタイムに極彩色サイケデリック映像を照射する。
リキッドライティングを使った、サイケデリック・ライトショーは当時のロック・コンサートに欠かせないものだった。
ライトペインティングのビルハム、ジョシュアライトショーのジョシュアホワイトが、
ライトショーのパイオニアとして有名。

Liquid Lighting
Liquid lighting was born out of the San Francisco psychedelic movement of the late 1960s.
Liquid lighting is a stage lighting system that uses liquid. 
On the OHP (Overhead Projector), liquids such as transparent colored ink and colored oil are moved to illuminate extremely colored psychedelic images in real time.
The liquid ink and colored oil are moved on the OHP (Overhead Projector) to irradiate extremely colored psychedelic images in real time.
Psychedelic light shows using liquid lighting were an indispensable part of rock concerts of the time.
Bill Hamm (light painting) and Joshua White (Joshua light show) are famous as pioneers of light shows.
